FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

You can search using your PO Number or TKM Position Number. Partial matches are supported β€” you don't need to type the full reference.
The tracker pulls live data directly from TKM Global's internal system every time you open or reload the page, so you always see the latest status.
LCL stands for Less than Container Load. It means your cargo doesn't fill an entire shipping container, so it is consolidated with other shippers' goods into a shared container. LCL is ideal for smaller shipments where booking a full container would not be cost-effective.
FCL (Full Container Load) means your shipment occupies one or more dedicated containers exclusively. Breakbulk (BB) refers to cargo that cannot fit into a standard container and is shipped as individual pieces β€” such as heavy machinery, oversized equipment, or project cargo. TKM Global handles both FCL and Breakbulk under the same service offering.
ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) is the scheduled date the vessel or aircraft is expected to leave the origin port or airport. ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) is the scheduled date it is expected to arrive at the destination. Once the vessel/flight has actually departed or arrived, these are shown as ATD (Actual Time of Departure) and ATA (Actual Time of Arrival).
A date marked (Planned) is scheduled but has not yet occurred. Once the date has passed, it is treated as completed and shown without the label.
Each milestone represents a key stage in your shipment journey. Completed milestones are shown with a filled circle in the freight colour; upcoming steps remain grey. For Sea LCL: Order Received β†’ Booked β†’ Picked Up β†’ Arrived at Warehouse β†’ Vessel Departed β†’ Pre-alert Sent. For Air: Order Received β†’ Booked β†’ Picked Up β†’ At Airport β†’ Pre-alert Sent β†’ Flight Departed β†’ Flight Arrived.
For any questions not addressed in the tracker, please contact your TKM Global operations representative directly. Their contact details can be found in your pre-alert notification.
